About

I am an attorney in Bucharest. I was admitted to the Romanian Bar in 2026 and practice in the Private Law Group at ONV LAW, where I work on business-law matters and am part of the firm’s energy practice.

I came to the Bar after eleven years inside a business. At G.A.S. Global (Texas and Romania), an international group providing staffing, recruitment, global mobility and tax services, I began in compliance and went on to lead the group’s legal and compliance function across more than twenty jurisdictions. The work ran from contracts and data protection to employment, immigration and corporate questions, and to coordinating outside counsel when disputes arose. For several years I also ran the group’s operations from Bucharest, which taught me how a company actually decides what risk it can carry and what that risk costs.

That experience shapes how I approach legal work. A client rarely needs a survey of the law; it needs to know what the rule means for the decision in front of it, what can go wrong, and what to do next. I write and advise with that in mind.

Alongside practice, I serve as Compliance Officer for ApolloIQ, a company building clinical automation and voice-transcription tools for healthcare, where I work on the regulation of AI in a sensitive and fast-moving field.

I studied law at the University of Bucharest and hold two LLM degrees, in Labour and Industrial Relations from the University of Bucharest and in American and Transnational Law from the University of Dayton, Ohio, together with an Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology. I am a certified Data Protection Officer and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

Here I write in English about energy and business law in Romania and the European Union. The page How I write explains the ground rules. My Career outline sets out my roles and qualifications, and a full CV is available on request; get in touch.
